Frequently Asked Questions
-
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, talk about what brought you to therapy, and explore what you hope to get out of counselling. We’ll work together to create a comfortable and supportive space where you can be yourself — no pressure and no judgement.
-
I primarily work with youth, teens, and young adults, supporting clients through challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationships, and life transitions. I also have a special interest in supporting athletes and dancers navigating performance pressure, confidence, and the unique demands of their environments.
-
Not at all. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes you may know exactly what you want to work on, and other times you may simply know that something doesn’t feel right. We’ll figure it out together.

The best way to reach me is through email. I aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day. For all emergencies, please call 911 immediately.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others may prefer biweekly or less frequent appointments. Together, we’ll determine a schedule that fits your needs, goals, and life.

Yes! I offer both in-person sessions in Waterloo, ON and virtual sessions across Ontario, giving you the flexibility to choose the format that feels most comfortable and accessible for you.

You don’t have to be in crisis or have a specific diagnosis to benefit from therapy. If something is weighing on you, you’re feeling stuck, or you simply want support navigating life, therapy can be a space to slow down, gain perspective, and build tools that help you feel more like yourself again.
