Workshops and Guest Speaking

Workshops

I offer engaging mental wellness workshops designed specifically for dancers, athletes, and performance-based teams. These sessions help participants build the emotional tools they need to thrive both in their sport and in everyday life.

Workshops focus on topics such as managing performance pressure, building confidence, navigating competition stress, developing healthy team dynamics, and supporting overall mental wellbeing. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where participants can learn practical strategies they can actually use — whether they’re heading into competition season, navigating setbacks, or simply learning how to take care of their mental health.

Each workshop is interactive, age-appropriate, and tailored to the needs of the studio or team. Sessions may include discussion, hands-on activities, reflection exercises, and practical coping tools that participants can take with them beyond the workshop.

Workshops are available for a variety of groups, including:

  • Dance Studios

  • Youth Athletes

  • Competitive Teams

  • Staff and Instructors

  • Parents and Caregivers

  • Educational Facilities and Youth Organizations

Whether your goal is to support dancers before competition season, strengthen team culture, or promote healthy mental habits, these workshops are designed to empower participants with skills that last far beyond the studio.

Guest Speaking

I offer guest speaking engagements for events, studios, teams, and organizations looking to bring greater awareness to mental health in performance and high-pressure environments.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and founder of Sabourin Psychotherapy, I speak about the emotional side of performing, competing, and striving for excellence. My talks focus on topics such as managing performance anxiety, building confidence, navigating pressure, maintaining healthy team environments, and supporting overall mental wellbeing.

Each presentation is designed to be engaging, relatable, and practical. I aim to create a space where participants feel understood while also leaving with tools and perspectives they can apply in their everyday lives — both inside and outside of their sport or activity.

Speaking engagements can be tailored for a variety of audiences, including:

  • Dance Competitions and Events

  • Youth Athletes and Performers

  • Coaches, Instructors, and Studio Staff

  • Parents and Caregivers

  • Schools and Youth Organizations

Whether speaking to a room full of young performers or the adults who support them, my goal is to help normalize conversations about mental health and equip individuals with strategies that foster confidence, resilience, and wellbeing.
